This was super cute! I just wish that we got JP’s perspective because I really liked him as a character.

Fake dating? Check! Grumpy/sunshine? Also check! I just loved this book! Luna is an absolute icon and Jean-Pierre is actually a marshmallow on the inside despite his tough exterior. The work these two put in to grow together and understand one another is so well written. They each own up to their mistakes and push each other to be better. Also the scene where they do their respective HRT shots together is so very sweet!

Undoubtedly one of my favourite books of the year and I hope to god we continue to see more queer fiction like this come out.

It’s such a breath of fresh air to get a amazing queer romance that isn’t just cis mxm and this one just did such a wonderful job of that. This was my first time reading a T4T romance and it was so spectacularly done. Though I must acknowledge that I’m not the most qualified to judge the trans quality representation and that if you’re interested in a more nuanced discussion then I’d suggest checking out some reviews of trans readers. But it just felt so well done.

The author strikes a wonderful balance between having the main characters trans identities a main theme without it being their only character traits. It feels real, raw and so romantic. I thought the sex scenes were really well executed and I liked the causal discussion of gender affirming care I.e. hormones.

Our main characters are so loveable and have such wonderful chemistry / I could easily read another entire book with them as the main characters.

I did forget this was technically a sequel so now I need to go back and read book one whoops.

This was another fun outing by TJ Alexander. Their books are always full of witty banter and dialogue, love, and happy endings.

I really enjoyed this one following Luna after I read Simone and Ray’s story the other day. JP and Luna were so sweet and I loved the fake dating storyline. It was fun watching them dance around their feelings for each other. When Luna finally realizes she’s into JP - it’s a true revelation! I definitely think JP fell first and harder, but it was such a lovely journey for them together. I loved how they fought and made up, make mistakes, and did things for the other person. I liked how TJ Alexander showed intimacy and I really really loved how Luna said it was awkward - most first times are!! I loved their communication. It was so well done and a standout for me in the book.

Their friend group remains amazing and I LOVED the scene where Ray, JP, and Petey get drunk and pay for gender affirming surgeries.

That ending was SO fantastic. JP and Luna standing together, figuring it out, and achieving their dreams 🥹. Loved it!!!

DNF at 46%…. I tried the audio and the physical and I just couldn’t get into it. I think there was too much random dialogue.
