Heathcliff and Samantha are interesting, entertaining, intriguing, fun, entertaining, relatable characters. I enjoyed them as individuals and as a couple. I also enjoyed their romance and the course that it took to get to their HEA. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story. I was hoping for more from one of the subplots, but otherwise I enjoyed the story.

I enjoyed the story and actually liked the H&H very much. Heathcliff had a lot to overcome from his past before he could trust Miranda/Samantha and that was understandable. I liked the humor and the characters from other books being in this one too. (I have not read those yet but intend to)

Overall a great romance between two very loving and deserving people that I enjoyed.

I would like to thank netgalley and Kensington books for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I liked that it was set in Scotland and we got to see regency Edinburgh. However, I did skim a fair bit of the book.
