There was some information that I found interesting but honestly I could’ve got it off google. I reas this book hoping to know about psychology of FEMALE SERIAL KILLERS but that didn’t really happen. I hated that the author kept promoting his other work while I was trying to read, his ego really shined through the pages. Absolutely no need to comment on every women’s weight or attractiveness or negatively comment on their sexuality. Barely any actual talking with serial killers, mostly just descriptions of their crimes which was interesting enough but not at all what was expected. The title implies it is a study but it’s not at all. DNF at 87 pages, as much as I wanted to learn about these serial killers I could not cope with the author and writing, need better recommendations for this asap.
- this book is very clickbaity the title, there is very little actual conversations with female serial killers.
- very few murderers he mentions are actually serial killers (a lot were just one time murderers).
- the author is very egotistical and kept saying his unnecessary opinions throughout the book including thoughts on how attractive the women were.
- even though it was a published book there were many typos and a huge amount of unnecessary and incorrect punctuation.

I came here to read about (the psychology of) female serial killers, not about how one of them was "actually bisexual with a 99.9% preference for women" instead of gay because she used a strap-on during sex, or how the main reason that women poison their victims much more in comparison to men is because it "requires the least strength".
Beside the blatant homophobia, transphobia, sexism and unprofess onal, offensive language, Berry-Dee's writing is an absolute mess; I doubt he has ever heard of proper interpunction. To me, it has never been more evident that a book was not proofread a single time.
Finally, Berry-Dee spends more time referencing random one-time killers and his own previous works than actually talking about a case. I can only describe this book as narcissist, sexist and just an overall mess.
I admire all the people who managed to finish this book, but I will very much be DNF'ing and will never read anything by this author ever again (even though I own another one of his books).

I was so disappointed in this book, the author was constantly referring back to himself and his ‘achievements’. I wanted to read about female serial killers not some boring middle aged narcissist.

I don't normally post reviews but felt the need with this one.
DO NOT read if you want to find out about female serial killers. He refers to maybe 4 or 5 in the whole book, not even more than 2 pages for most and then states there's not enough room for more details! Well there would be if spent less time on one time murderers! He even states the definition of a serial killer numerous times throughout the book, but chooses to ignore it.
It is poorly written, littered with grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Also 'retarded', really. . . It's the 21st century, not appropriate.
Could not read this book fast enough to get it over and done with. Waste of money!

Interesting reads and mini stories of different serial killers throughout. Not fully indepth with the cases but covers all bases of the cases enough to keep interesting.
