The world's longest epic poem written by a single poet and oh boy it was long. It took me 23 days to finish it not because it is long but because I forgot that I was reading this book on my Kindle.

I could not help myself but to compare it to Odyssey and there are surely a lot of similarities between two works. So, if you like Odyssey you will most likely love this one as well.

I especially enjoyed the chapters related to Feridoun and his sons and also Rustem. Many chapters are actually related to Rustem, his life and his family. He is some kind of a protagonist in the book but the book in general deals with a vast time period.

In general, I really enjoyed the book. Even though there are some parts that I considered boring, it is still worth your time.
