So good. I really loved these two characters. SO much. The tension of them getting together was handled perfectly. Their friends were varied and interesting, but annoying at times. Overall, I really liked it. Well worth reading. Also, I want to see her paintings.

This is a fun YA retelling of Jane Austen's Persuasion, and though there were a few characters who didn't quite fit with the original story, it's still close enough to be enjoyable.

I absolutely adored Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik, so when I was browsing Edelweiss and saw The Last Best Kiss I knew I had to see what it was all about. I instantly fell in love with the synopsis and could not pass up a chance to read it. Let me just tell you, it completely stands up to all the standards I held it to. I literally could not put this book down, all I wanted to do was know what would happen next. The Last Best Kiss is just one of those perfectly adorable and angst filling contemporaries that leave your heart happy in the end.

We've all been in a position where Anna has been. Where you do something because of society or peer pressure even if it's something you don't want to do... even if it breaks your heart. I felt for Anna and related so many times throughout this book. My heart broke for her multiple times, but yet I loved where she ended up. All of our characters definitely started at one place and then ended up somewhere new at the end and I loved it. Which moves me to Finn Westbrook. Gosh, who doesn't love a nerd turned hot story? I loved Finn as soon as we meet him... Scrawny, glasses, and all. Then to watch him keep all his intelligence and personality but add new looks and new traits to his personality... so hot!

I love how the author weaves more than a romance story though. It's a coming of age story, it's being confident in who you are, it's about family, and sexual orientation, and trust all wrapped up into one heart melting story you won't be able to put down. Absolutely loved!

EDIT: Read

Reading the blurb, it's obviously a modern retelling of Jane Austen's Persuasion. And Persuasion is my second favorite Jane Austen book. So yeah, I'm gonna give this a try.

Finally got around to reading this one, a lighthearted, fun take on Persuasion. Still managed to kick me in the feels. <3 Finn!

This was a very cute retelling of Persuasion! Loved finding all the similarities to Austen's book.

Pretty good but I didn't like the drug usage and underage drinking in the story.
