The Dark Kingdom Anthology is a really Fantastic Anthology of 14 authors who bring us some very gripping short stories! I enjoyed each and every one of these short stories! They each kind of have this new and twisted play on fairytales. Most are Dark and have mature content that could possibly trigger people, so please be warned. I feel like each story was very special and alluring! I am so happy to have had the chance to read them and discover some new to me authors! This isn’t exactly my normal way of reviewing, I kinda just jotted down my main feelings from each of the short stories.

Alice La Roux- The council of seven (5 Stars)
Very intriguing. Enticingly erotic! Whew! It definitely got hot. Unlike any other Snow White retelling, you will ever read! It’s dark and delicious.

Anna Edwards- Osborne (5stars)
The best robin hood retelling yet! Exciting and oh so sexy! I loved the mafia twist!

Brooke Summers - saving Reli (5 Stars)
It starts out as Very Dark and Twisted And then turns sexy and sweet. I loved it! Its also an age gap which is my favorite kind! It’s unlike any Cinderella take you’ve yet to read.

Gemini Jensen - Prince if Ruin (5 Stars)
Whew, this was a short, sweet and sexy little number! I loved this new retelling of Aladdin! It was very intriguing and I hope there will be more!

Isabel Lucero- Captured in Underland (5 stars)
Very interesting and exciting! Hooked from the first page! Wow! Dark and twisty and full of the normal riddles that come with Alison in wonderland! I loved it, it was hot and sexy! Definitely has that Alice in Wonderland “we’re all mad here vibe’ Very sexy with an awesome sick and twisted feel.

Karen Frances- Into The Deep (5 stars)
Oh yes! I’m not sure what this fairytale is supposed to be but the story was thrilling and scary! It was also sweet and keeps your interest! I definitely want more of the characters and to know how they turn out!

Krissy V. - Catch me if you can (5 stars)
Very sweet, fun and hot! There’s excitement and a little bit of dark matter! I’m not sure which fairytale this was but I loved it!

Leah Negron - Web of rejection (4 stars)
A dark and scary short story. With a sweet, and heartfelt love! I enjoyed it! I’m not sure what twist of a tale this is.

Logan Fox - A Beast by Any other name (5 stars)
Omg! This was absolutely addictive! I love this author! This story was a twisted retelling of beauty and the beast, it’s dark and mysterious and leaves you wanting more! I downloaded the continuation because I had to have it!

Raven Amore- King (5 stars)
Holy Crap! This short story was EVERYTHING! I don’t know what take it is but it was Amazing! It captures you from the start and consumes you! Full of first love tingles and then you get hit emotionally. It’s intriguing and leaves you dying for more!

Samantha Frontien - Slumberland (3.5 Stars)
Insane, one minute everything was sexy and hot and the next my but was on the floor and I had no idea what was happening.

Sean Azinsalt - Bound (5 Stars)
An extremely hot, like whew, I need a cold shower hot! It’s a dark story and twisted retelling of rapunzel!

I think this story should have kicked the series off. It’s intriguing, lots of fairytale bits and pieces all mix in and twisted. It’s sweet and Very Dark! In the end you feel mixed happiness.

I have to say that this was one of my favorite anthologies I have read in a while simply because I love fairytale retellings but this anthology took some classic fairy tales and twists them into dark stories. Every story was unique in its own way and truly fun to read. It let me discover some new authors that I can not wait to read more of.

A little taste of the darker side of fairytales. I loved this. Hands down, absolutely loved.
I enjoyed the tease, essentially.

Deeper delve-
Slumberland by SF-
A nteresting intro to this authors works. I was really enjoying the steam, and then came the wallop of ‘what on earth is happening?’ I loved that even more. I’ll be checking this authors backlist out, ASAP.
Saving Reli by BS-
Whew. That was a rough ride for sure, and I loved it all. Talia grated my nerves, much like the character she was influenced by. Definitely want more of this as well.

Beast by Any Other Name by Logan Fox
Five AMAZING Stars

I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of Logan's contribution.

Logan's reimagining of the Disney classic is so good. She brings her signature dark twists and turns and creates something amazing. Even though it's a condensed story you are still able to understand and like the characters.

I'm honestly interested to see what the other stories are like now.

A Beast by any Other Name by Logan Fox - I was lucky enough to read an early copy of this short story by Logan Fox. This author has become one of my favorites, because they truly go there and don’t hold back with their writing. A Beast by any Other Name is a twisted take on Beauty and the Beast. It is pretty dark and haunting, but for most of the story you’re not quite sure WHY it feels that way. I really can’t say too much, because this is a short one, and I don’t want to spoil, but yeah. It’s dark. It’s twisty. It’s full of triggering content even though most of it happens off page you will be aware of what happened. All in all a great read. I only marked down a star because some things that happened weren’t fully explained. I know that it’s probably hard to fit so much content into a short story eloquently, but yeah there are a few questions I still wish were answered! I can’t wait to check out the entire anthology on 3/26!

Saving reli Brooke summers

So there is sexual abuse in the story pretty graphic and abuse so be swear of that trigger.

This was a really good book though. I enjoyed how the character grows and learns from her trauma. She also goes on to help others who suffer from abuse it's a nice quick read with a nice story build.

What a collaboration of dark and twisted fairy tales. I have been on a kick of dark fairy tales lately, and I was lucky enough to receive an early copy. Now I have read some of these authors, and some are new to me. The new to me authors it is your lucky day, because you just gained another loyal reader. I enjoyed each and every story and the different little twist that each placed in their stories. Now these reviews are going to be short and sweet. Please do not let the shortness of my reviews sway you away from grabbing a copy and enjoying these novellas for yourself.

Review The Council of Seven:
This novella pulled me in from the beginning to end. The little twist on Snow White will have you reeled in from the very first page. I hope there comes a day where Number Seven gets what he truly wants.
Review A Beast By Any Other Name:
I love beauty and the beast It is one of my favorite fairy tales. I have read a few dark ad twisted based on this one lately. I will say Logan has written one of the better ones. I was engaged from the first page to the very last. I love reading a story where the characters are relatable and not to fake.
Review Osbourne:
Where can I get me an Osbourne. That man has so much going for him. I love his strength and his loyalty especially towards Mary. Having to make the choices he makes to make sure she is kept safe. He had a very hard choice to make and he did what was necessary to make sure everyone is taken care of.
