I think this one’s probably my favourite book of the series!!! the characters are great, the fantasy world and creatures are wonderful and the story was truly great and heartwarming

I absolutely adored this series. Beautiful visuals and such sweet storytelling. The ending made it feel like an ending ending but I hope Pearson has completely shut the door on this wonderful world. Either way, I can't wait to see what he cooks up next

I forget how amazing the Hilda books are! This one picks up just after the cliffhanger at the end of Hilda and the Stone Forest & rolls you straight into troll lore. Beautiful & heartfelt in the best of ways. Hilda is always highly recommended to all.

Another great Hilda book. Not my favorite in the series so far but still a solid story with some really awesome art.

I pre-ordered this months ago after I read all the other Hilda books and was excited to see it arrive! Just as charming and lovely as the first 5, and I hope there will be many more. Not sure when exactly I read this, but it was early-ish in the year.
