marianne was relatable for me especially with her feelings about her twin sister
the story did remind me of angsty fanfictions i read at some point but it still made my heart feel wrenched and cry

This book was amazing! The teasing, the romance, it was all just so good! And I did get quite a few laughs from this book, too!
There were some things that could have been explained better, and a few things didn't quite make sense to me (I can't say what though because of spoilers), and a few things towards the end was a bit iffy for me, but otherwise I loved this book!
And then there was a big library, too, which earned Edenbrooke some serious brownie points.

This was precious! I admittedly don’t read to a lot of regency/period romances so this was kind of new for me but I loved how soft and sweet this was. Marianne and Philip were the perfect blend of friends to romance. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump and this was actually just what I needed! It was easy to follow along with but still kept me invested in the story. I related to Marianna on a lot of levels and I really enjoyed her storyline with her sister and always feeling like she’s in her shadow.
I did want just a few more scenes between the main couple but overall this was a win.

All my friends love this book and it has really high reviews, so I feel like I'm the odd one out on this one... I think that Regency romance just isn't my thing!
