I really wanted to like this book, especially since its such a highly raved werewolf book and there arent many well written werewolf books out there. But i was misled on tiktok into thinking that Blake was the male lead. So when i found out that callum and aurora had basically did couple things together, it was so distracting for me. I despise love triangles and the fact that blake may not be the male lead irks me so much. Im already not rooting for callum so even if it became a reverse harem situation it will be weird for me.

I think I’ve seen this film before… and I kinda liked the ending. The plot of this book follows Princess Aurora as she enters into an unexpected romance with an alpha werewolf, who are considered second-class citizens in her homeland. And this wolf happens to have just (basically) kidnapped her. Eventually, a second mysterious alpha wolf enters Aurora’s orbit, and she must navigate around his ulterior motives to execute her own plan and maintain her own pride and dignity in the process.
While I enjoyed the romantic tension and thought the writing was well done, I do think this story is one that I’ve both read and seen on television. I’m not a quitter, so I’ll read the second book to see if the plot manages to deviate from what seems like a predictable path ahead. I’m interested in the journey toward making me invested in both men in this love triangle.

Love the accents on audible. Most of book was really good. Lost me at the end. Main guy is hot and top teir boyfriend
i was going to give this 2 stars but then I remembered he wore a kilt and i physically couldnt. The plot in this book was just stretched soo thin it was barely there-The same story couldve been written in a 100 pages book. Also the amount of times he said aye just made me cringe so hard i couldnt.
