💙vol 2 was just as good as vol 1!

💙Yona and Hak arrive at his home—where the wind tribe resides

💙Hak gives her a fake identity so no one suspects that she’s the princess that people are looking for

💙the wind tribe treats her kindly & welcomes her with open arms—we get to meet Hak’s “family” (members of the tribe)

💙Hak makes a hard decision but Yona won’t let him go on his own—the end up heading somewhere the Elder general recommends & face many troubles on the way

💙Hak tries his best to keep protecting Yona no matter what & she starts to feel the same about him!

💙things are happening at the palace meanwhile…while someone else is setting themselves up to become the new king 👀

💙again, trying my best not to spoil anything! definitely recommend this manga series! 🫶🏼

I’m quickly falling in love with this manga! 😍 I love seeing Yona’s character grow stronger and her relationship with Hak develop. It was also nice seeing the wind tribe and where Hak grew up. Tae-Yeon is adorable btw 🥰

Side note: If everyone could stop borrowing Yona of the Dawn from the library so I can continue to feed my Yona obsession without having to wait 3 weeks between volumes that would be great 😭

So much happened in this volume. There were moments that I audibly chuckled and just overall some silliness amidst the bloody fights.

I'm definitely having a fun time with this and look forward to reading more soon. : ]

You know it's truly about the yearning on Hak's part for me in this volume. God I'm such a sucker for pining and bodyguard tropes and this series is going to feed me.
