I stuck with the first book because the MMF triad was interesting but some of this is plain nasty, tipping it from an account of just about plausible sexual tension into something implausible and demeaning. I won’t bother with the third book.

Okay, this is WILD. This series is officially more unhinged than "Priest." Please look into the trigger warnings for this book and take them seriously.

That aside, I wanted to like this more than I did. I did finally start to feel like the "scenes" and inner-monologues were a little repetitive. The miscommunications (or maybe just lying?) trope abounds here, so if that annoys you, don't read. I really had very little patience for Embry, although I do still like him as a character. The reveal at the end is CRAZY. Also, wouldn't everything still make Embry and Ash half-brothers? I need a diagram of a family tree.

I do still want to know what happens and maybe I'm finally starting to get burnt out on Simone, but this book just didn't hit for me like her others. I am excited to continue with the next one and see how it wraps up.

4.75 this series will be the end of me. In all honesty I could live without Greer, her character is only needed to build up Embry and Ash in my opinion. But Ash and Greer are killing me. I would sell my soul for them
