I couldn’t be more happy with this amazing duology! A Fire Endless lives up to the lofty expectations set by its prequel.

I’m sure I’ll update this review very soon to rave about the book; for now, though, I’ll just say I wish other fantasy authors took this book’s approach to romance (it exists, but it’s not at all overpowering or central to the plot at all, and no enemies to lovers stuff).

I’ve been waffling between a 4⭐️ and a 5⭐️ for this one. It was better than A River Enchanted (which I also liked). This book had more of the page-turning excitement that I want in a fantasy.

Jack and Adaira’s relationship was so sweet. This book is filled with great sweep-you-off-your-feet lines, which I personally eat up. I think this book would’ve been put over the top if the rivals arc of their rivals-to-lovers storyline had been more emphasized in A River Enchanted. I guess that’s more of a critique of the first book in the series because I wouldn’t have changed a thing about A Fire Endless. Regardless, I would definitely give this duology a read if you are looking for a cozy romantasy.
