The books are dull and to long, they are interesting at parts but I don’t like how everything goes so bad all the time and then for the end to just be a miraculous happy ending.

What a brilliant end to this series. I loved how these books just melt into one another and pick up where the last one left off. I can't say enough about the images too because they are amazing and add so much to this story.
I think this is such an imaginative book with so many little twists and turns and jargon to do with the World.
I LOVE IT!

WHY PEOPLE DON'T TALK ABOUT THIS BOOK ????

Obviously, I AM SO INLOVE WITH THIS SERIES. I haven't read anything like this. It's so different in it's own way. I still remember how thrilling the first book is and how nerve-wrecking the 2nd book and IT'S CLIFFHANGER !!!

The writing of this book was good, the characters was justtttt- I love Jacobbbbbb !!!! He's just the type of character that is kind of lowkey but will definetly make you remember him.

Overall I think the book was good, but I think the ending was contrived and I'm still upset about Fiona, y'all. But it was a good conclusion to the series and in a lot of ways I was really happy with it. You can't have everything you want in a book =). So, 4.5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this book and series.

Truth be told, I'd have given up on Library of Souls if this wasn't the third book of a saga I was enjoying.
The other books were gripping and introduced us an interesting diversity of characters… but the first half of this book was dull and unexciting. Even worse, this book presented a weak plot, in my opinion.
In Library of Souls, most of the major plot points happened out of the blue, as if Ransom Riggs had just figure what to write in the last minute. If the Library of Souls was such a crucial element of Peculiardom's lore and culture, why haven't we heard about it before? This element would have been much more interesting and believable if it had been carefully planted in a previous book. Moreover, why did Caul's initial plan suddenly became untrue after being so well presented to the reader? Maybe because the author didn't think it through and found out it didn't fit the story? This all seems very sloppy in my opinion, upsetting even! Finally, as a villain, Caul/Jake is such a letdown… Plain, shallow, confusing and disappointing… He need a better and more developed backstory.
Nevertheless, the writing was rather beautiful, and Riggs sure knows how to set a tone and picture a very visual and immersive environment.
Overall, I'd give this book 3*, but as a whole, and given that I enjoyed its predecessors so much, I'll be giving it 4*.
