Dylan and Gabe are a match made...in Heaven or Hell, depending on the day. Gabe is the boss, but Dylan challenges him at every turn, witnessing his relationship with his boyfriend, a real idiot, and not keeping his opinions secret.
But, when Gabe is sick, Dylan takes care of him, and they both begin to show more of their real selves. They have fire, passion, which finally turns from sarcasm to sexual, after Gabe officially breaks up with his guy, who didn’t really know him at all.
Gabe struggles with trusting himself to love, and though they part, both are so miserable, so they have to figure things out.
Both Gabe and Dylan are funny, intelligent, deep characters. I also love Dylan’s roommate, Jude, and Gabe’s friend, Henry.
Beautiful writing, so much humour I laughed throughout, but cried a bit too, with some of the serious moments. I didn’t want it to end, but thank goodness there are more books in this series.
So excited to find it!

Enjoyable for any Ennemies to lovers fan but the intrigue is really déjà vu.
Really struggling with how to rate this. So many of my friends on here loved this book... and I understand why. But I wasn't the biggest fan. It's one of my favorite tropes - enemies to lovers, but it also contained one of my least favorites plot tropes which is when one character is clearly in love and affection while the other keeps pushing them away and denying feelings. Didn't help I think that we only got one perspective but I found myself incredibly frustrated while reading. The writing was good! Overall the book was good! But not for me
A second reread while waiting for an upcoming book release tomorrow. Even better than the first time since I now know the secondary characters and their stories. I was so happy to see Jude and Henry :)
Probably closer to 4.5 stars. I loved the banter between these two, and there were several laugh-out-loud moments.
I had absolutely no expectations going into this book, but oh man was I entertained. I really loved the biting sarcasm between Gabe and Dylan and the unacknowledged sexual tension. I enjoyed watching them dance around each other and not own up initially to what they really wanted. They were always going to work through things, but of course they had to be stupid for a bit first.
Dylan was just great. His relationship with his friends was fun (aka Jude) and his never back down nature made me fall for him just a little bit. Gabe is exactly the demanding boss you'd expect, with crazy exacting standards that are bound to drive his assistant batty. But underneath you just knew he needed someone to care about the real him and not just the sex.
Loved this book and can't wait to read more in the series.

I loved Revisting Dylan and Gabe..they remain one of my favorite Lily couples. I love the angst that Lily wrote here. I wish she would go back to this style.
Joel was perfect in his narration..he really us the best to perform Lily's characters.
