Holy hotness that was an incredible ride. I need a fan because it got hot in here pretty quickly. You could cut the chemistry and sexual tension with a knife.

Jazz. She was awesome. Definitely someone I would be proud to have as a BFF. She doesn’t care what other people think and has no problem speaking her mind and it is amazeballs.

Kingston. Classic rich prick that you can’t help but be in love with. He’ll have you swooning and cursing at the same time. I can’t give a full explanation on how I feel about him because of how the book ends, but I’m hoping the next book answers some of my curious questions I have.

Jazz & Kingston. The push and pull and sexual buildup is so strong with this book.

You can’t help but keep reading it’s so addicting. Every page turn takes you on an awesome journey leaving you wanting more.

GO READ THIS AWESOME BOOK NOW AND ENJOY THE TORTURE!

Instant favorite!

This book was so dark and keeps you guessing from beginning to end! The characters are so well developed and really draw you into this amazingly, thrilling story. I was completely blown away and cannot wait until the next book.

Wicked Liars is the first book in the Windsor Academy series. This book is a dark high school bully romance. This book is told from the dual point of view from Jasmine (Jazz) and Kingston.

Jazz has lived with her mom and sister Bell her whole life. She is 17 years old and her mother passed away. She discovers she has a father and is sent to live with him. Upon arriving she learns she has a stepmother and stepsister. Her stepsister Peyton is one of the three Queens of the school and has a hatred for Jazz from the get go. Peyton is in a relationship with Kingston.

Kingston starts to have feelings for Jazz. Jazz becomes friends with Ainsley (Kingston's sister) which is how Kington comes to be around Jazz. Kingston doesn't know if he can trust Jazz since she doesn't fall in line like everyone else. Peyton has her minions go after Jazz as much as they can.

This book ends with Jazz questioning everything. She doesn't know who she can trust. It ends on a cliffhanger.

I really loved this book, and can't wait to read the next one!

** I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book and the mystery to it and plan to finish the series but the relationship kinda goes from 0 to 100 real quick and I’m more of a slow burn person, but besides that it was good. This book was giving me Wattpad vibes in a good way

I have had this series on my TBR / Amazon Wishlist for a while as the discreet covers are stunning! When I had a friend tell me the first book was now included with your audible membership - I jumped right in!

- Bully / Dark Romance
- High School / YA Romance (18+ only)
- Enemies to Lovers
- Family Mystery / Suspense

Jazz is transferred to live with her "sperm donor" aka wealthy upper socialite father when her mother is unexpectedly shot. She is met with a huge mansion, a new barbie step sister and a step mother who doesn't want anything to do with her. She is to attend Windsor Academy & behave, to be able to get into university of her choice & earn a good enough living to support herself & her younger half sister outside of their twisted families.

Jazz quickly makes an enemy of her step sister & her step sister's handsome boyfriend; Kingston. However does make best friends with Kingston's twin sister; Ainsley. She is grateful for Ainsley & they quickly become quite close, which also puts her closer to Kingston.

Kingston despises Jazz straight away, thanks to her rotten father. He automatically assumes Jazz is a poor little girl who will listen to her new daddy, but is shocked when he learns Jazz is a strong woman who doesn't want anything to do with her dad or this upper socialite world. She just wants to get through her education. But that still doesn't make Kingston leave her alone, it just makes him go from tormenting her to wanting her.

Jazz & Kingston then get mixed up in the family drama thanks to their two evil fathers, resulting in Jazz ending up in a horrid attack (tw; SA). Leaving the book ending on a cliffhanger, with the reader needing to know more!! I picked up the sequel straight away.

4/5 stars with 3/5 steam.

I will be honest, I nearly dnf this book at about 35%. A certain scene happens which does involve the MFC being quite drunk & being taken advantage of by the supposedly MMC. I had to step back & stop listening/reading but I was told by my friends to keep listening/reading & the scene is explained what actually happened/went down in the sequel. But I still felt uncomfortable about that particular scene & don't recommend this book to those who have trigger warnings of sexual assault.

However all in all, this book was highly addictive and I thank Laura for writing such a kick ass FMC in Jazz. She is so strong & the shit she gives the MMC is justified & sorta made me proud at times (haha).

It’s a no from me.

Reasons I’m dnf:
- You can honestly tell how a book is gonna be in the first few pages. Without a fail books w. this trope end up being hated by me bc the main character has a chip on their shoulder. Additionally, there’s always snotty side characters.
- This book will probably be similar to Boys of Brayshaw High. Fortunately for that series, I wasn’t over the whole “angry-badass” heroines.
- 4% in she meets her step-sister and it’s confrontational. Can authors spice things up a bit and idk, make them not so angry in the first meeting??? Most people don’t act rude when they first meet people.
- Tbh, I’m assuming this was just going to be some dumb high school drama that’s marketed as “dark” but really it’s mild bullying w. lots of smut.
- I hadn’t met the H yet when I decided to dnf, but I can assume he’s some jockstrap who thinks he’s a sex god.....
