This set the scene for the next one. It explained more of the history behind the characters and races which I found interesting. It also gave some updates on other characters.

This one took a while to read, and I think the reason why is because there was no real plot. As with the last one of the series, this is just more build-up to a forthcoming novel. I do wish the next one was out though. If there even will be a next one.
