Thank you so much Meredith and LoveNotes PR for the ARC!

Absolutely blown away that this was a debut novel, it had me hooked from the jump. I devoured it in a single day, with my toddlers home. The story of Rhode and Nina was adorable, the mental health representation was fantastic, and the banter was witty and had me laughing out loud. The part about falling asleep outside the Sig Ep house after one cup of punch? Same girl, same.

I was so excited to read this book since romance and hockey sports are one of my favorite tropes but I was disappointed. I really wanted to like this book but it just didn’t give what it was supposed to give. As I was reading I could predict everything that was going to happen.

The mental health trope was done really well and I felt like it was handled extremely well.

Icebound was so good and funny. First, I love the relationship with Rhode, Patty, and Cruz; they fight like brothers, and I love that vibe. But for Rhode and Nina, I love how they are opposites, and they say opposites attract, which worked out well for this story, and they brought the best out of each other.
