I really enjoyed this story. Jackson and Katelyn are so adorable. The way he calls her kitten is so sweet.

Jackson and his Kitten
Jackson Wilder is a sweetheart, i love Katelyn Kitten) and their crazy whirlwind relationship. S.J. Tilly books are definitely always some of my favorites.

Tilly hits it out of the park (or given the setting, should it be she scores a slap shot again?) Whatever, it’s another great story. I noted in the author’s acknowledgments that this is her first novel. Wow. And I’m not just blindly praising because I’m a fan. This story was fun, well written, great character development. Perfect example of the trope.
The trope being classic boy meets girl meet cute. He’s a famous hockey player, she’s a not famous copywriter. After their first meet, he’s as smitten with her as she is with him. There’s the classic third act misunderstanding and the final act grand gesture. It could’ve been boring, but Tilly’s storytelling kept me interested until the HEA.
One complaint, however, but it’s minor. She describes Katelyn’s outfit during the final act and it made me cringe. Trust me, I’m no fashion diva, but a red dress with yellow polka dots? Black blazer and tights with shiny red shoes? No! Just no!
Five out of five stars overall, five out of five hearts for romance. No violence. Spice is three out of five. If it were a movie, I’d rate it R dashed on adult situations and sex scenes. I recommend this, and I’ll be bold enough to recommend the entire Sleet series simply because of the author.
