It was an ok book I guess, for someone who is not an author. She had some good points but there was a lot of redundancy and some of it was not as helpful as I'd hoped.

I've always loved Full House and it was so cool to hear Candace Cameron Bure talk about her life. She tells a lot about her struggle with eating and overeating while growing up. Bure also talks about her faith and how that plays such an important part in her life. I'm glad I listened to this book.

Lots of food for thought based on scripture. Very encouraging and inspiring. Before this I have never fully thought that what I put in my mouth really matters to God. Every other little matter in life, but not this. I certainly understood the benefits of a connected mind, body and spirit, but not in this way. A real ditzy thing but nonetheless. Anyway, her story was good to hear and I will now make an effort to work on this. Thankfully o have read this.

Good motivation book for getting on track with weight loss and lifestyle adjustment by getting your relationship with God in the right priority.

Was not particularly well-written/edited, but I appreciated the book.

I really like Candace Cameron Bure. I used to watch her on Full House and I love all of her movies. So when I learned she had written a book, I had to give it a try. A very spiritual book. I admire the way she lives her life.

For a woman who has struggled with ED in the past, I thought this book was going to be open and honest about the struggle of self-image, diet culture, and aniety around eating. Spoiler alert: it was not.
To be honest, CCB came across as very condescending. I felt like I was being talked down to most of the time.
I would even go as far as saying this book has some hurtful advice for women struggling with their self-image.

Some great thoughts in here. I generally just like her, but this book probably is not for you if you don't want to read a Christian approach. I appreciated her perspective and well thought out "why". It's hilarious that all her recipes are woefully underseasoned.
