My least favorite of Olivia Atwater’s books - never really pulled me in.

This is once again another cute installment in the Regency Faerie Tales series. It's a fairly lighthearted historical fiction, romantasy with some threads of an emotional story. I think this book definitely has the best and most interesting plot line of the series. It was a pretty low-stakes and somehow lighthearted murder mystery that really fit the vibe of this world. The romance was really adorable and I like how both Abigail and Mercy found their true selves through this romance. To fully accept this romance they first had to fully accept who they were and went they wanted. They both went on great personal journeys that was honestly more interesting that the mystery plot. I just wish we got more of this romance. There was a lot of pining, but when they finally got together the story was over. Overall, this was a pretty enjoyable read but honestly nothing that's going to stick with me for too long.
