Amazing. This book has quickly become one of my new faves. It is fast paced, with fierce, strong and brave girls. The main character is one of my favorites now and there were amazing and naturally progressing character arcs. I will 100% be rereading this book and I can not wait for the next installment!

Impressive start to a series. Loved the writing and the pacing. The dynamics between the command crew was interesting, and I definitely enjoyed the book for the most part. The romance felt forced, though. Or just came out of left field for me. Will be reading the next book in the series!

The concept was great and the writing was fine but I'm kinda over broody protagonists who push their friends away and blame themselves for everything ever....... repeating these feelings and same conversations/arguments over and over just drove me up the wall, but god I can't really take more than one star off the rating cause...... lady pirates!

I. Love. Pirates. Augh their stories have their way of never been boring. I was hesitant to read this book at first but I decided to give it a go because I haven’t read a pirate book lately and I heard the book had a lot of violence in it. I really enjoyed the main character, even though I couldn’t even begin to pronounce her name. I loved Hime so much and the plot. I cannot wait to read the next book!
