Overall I loved this one. I was hooked by the storyline and when we finally learned who was behind everything, my jaw dropped. I loved Laiken and Boden and their connection through shared experience was so good. However two things made me take off a bit from the rating (the end, which felt a tad too similar to the ending of book 3 and the fact that they don’t address how the future will really work for the characters given he’s an actor…it’s kinda glossed over).

Wow! I sure didn’t see the bad guy coming in this one! I had a guess but I was way wrong! I do have to say Peaches and Gizmo stole the book! So far this is my favorite book in this series. I’m a little sad I only have 1 book left but I’m so looking forward to the next story!

I had a good time reading this book. I loved the tropes and the overall concept of the plot. I also really loved the characters and getting to see the way they grieved their loss was really interesting to see. I loved the mystery sort of subplot, I thought it was quite clever the way it was done. I personally think that there was too many twists and it became too much so just missed out on being a five star read.

3.75 ✨. Movie star comes to a small town. Felt a little insta lovey and the end felt too similar to book #3. A lot going on with new characters and two separate traumas/dramatic plot lines.
