The level of drama is fantastic and a super easy fast read! You really feel for the characters
Truly enjoyable & not all that memorable. Still, the Victorian London setting is fun to read, there were some legitimately swoony romantic moments and I'm eager for the third book in this series to come out.

I like these books. But I feel like a 16 year old reading them. They are fairly immature, yet fun and exciting. Sort I like twilight in that way, but much more imaginative and better writing.

After reading the mortal instruments series, I am completely hooked! There is something about Reading books about a bloodline. Following the ancestors of yesterday to the jace and clary of today. I am invested in these characters and families and can't wait to read more about them.
