I liked this YA romance just as much as I did Blackout! This collection of collected stories about Atlanta teens during a snowstorm (and their respective relationships) was great on audio, although I had to rewind sometimes when chapters changed to keep track of who the story had changed to.

This collection of interconnected black teenage characters was a sweet audiobook treat. It’s nice to have a winter based novel that doesn’t specifically highlight one holiday but takes place during the freezing times. Each couple has their own place in the story as they try to help out Stevie get back Sola. I do wish we got more from Sola’s POV. Kaz & Porsha didn’t get a lot of page time so I forgot about them once their portion was over 🥲 My only gripe would be some of the plot holes and the Brazilian words that wasn’t properly spoken by one of the narrators. Also, Brazilians don’t make empanadas - those are pastels (similar but not the same food.

This was an absolute joy to read. I loved everything about this book, so perfect to read at the start of December. 

Every character was so well rounded and rich that I adored every moment with them. And the different points of view and when they all came together? Perfect. 

Such a wholesome, feel-good story.
