Some of the stories were entertaining and some I skipped altogether. No brainer read for winter break.

Most of the stories were garbage, and despite the Christmas theme these were mostly scary stories. One or two were worth reading, but the constant typos and grammatical errors made it clear that no one really cared about the quality of this collection.

A pretty good collection. Some of the stories were not for me, but for the most part this set worked.

Entertaining collection of tales that can easily be read on holiday day off. Favorite story was Peppermint and Pentacles which was a steampunk novel that a hint of Charles Stross Laundry Files about it.

Some of these short stories deserve more than 3 stars, and some deserve less. So, I’ve placed the entire collection in the 3 star category. I wouldn’t mind reading more from a couple of these authors.

Stopped about halfway thru the stories. Was enjoying them mostly but they all felt way too short. Except the first one, it was a perfect length and I really liked it. (Going to look up the author even.)

There are some stories in this collection of stories worth at least 4 stars, but the there are also some stories worth 0-1 stars bringing the overall rating down.

Fairly uneven collection, in terms of quality and length - a couple are barely a blurb set in an established world. But there are some fun bits mixed in that tempt me to try out some new authors, so I won't complain.
