I think this book was just a combo of Hannah Montana and Princess Diaries, but I can’t remember for sure.

3.5 stars. This was overall a good book. I had a lot of fun reading it. It was pretty predictable and I found the romance to be kind of forced and cheesy. The 2000s references really add to the y2k campy vibes of the book. It was interesting to read the perspective of a Hollywood star. The plot was giving Hannah Montana vibes. I’d recommend if you’re looking for a quick fun read.

Though this book was a little unremarkable, it still a very good read. Really fun and sweet.

Oh how I loved his series! I think I still do, I remember parts and pieces. It was wonderful. Moving on from snobby rich girls to more of a plot line. Well done, 13 year old me.

I really enjoyed this book, I love getting a peek of what it's like to be an actress. I loved Kaitlin and her story. which I cant wait to read the next book On Location.

A lot like every teen movie/book about a famous girl dressing up in disguise, trading places, etc. But enjoyable for a quick, fun read.

Kaitlin Burke is a teen sensation. At 16, she's always been used to performing. As star of a popular soap, she is used to everyone following her every move.
Feeling just a little frazzled by it all, Kaitlin decides to take on a new role-that of ordinary high school student.
Okay, there's nothing particularly complicated about this but it is good fun.

3.5 stars. I totally remember why I loved books like these, and now that love has turned into a weird fascination with how different contemporary romances were circa 2007. I read the first few books in the series back as they were published and lost track once high school ended. I'll definitely be continuing on for the nostalgic feels! But, as far as the book is concerned - I read this in a couple hours tonight and really enjoyed it until the end. The cheesiness and cliches definitely got to me a bit. (Just overly predictable and eye-rolly.) Also, her family is terrible! They all use her and steal her success to make it their own, yet she says they always have her back. I just don't see that quite yet. I'm also really glad I have such a terrible bookish memory because I seriously felt like I haven't even read this before as I was reading LOL
