Very cute and very short. I wish the book was longer and you got to see the romance and the magic. There was so much more I wanted to know about these characters and the world they were living in. Not sure if there will be more to these books but I love everything AJ Sherwood does even when they are too short!

I was so excited when Amazon showed me a book with tags and the rating was so high.  Sadly I was disappointed.  
It felt like reading rough fanfiction but I continued on since its only a hundred pages.  Its a book with ghosts so I suspended disbelief at the 22 year old owning a shop right next to the 27 year old who also owns a shop right next to his sister who also owns a shop. Moon sugar had me raising a brow (while sure you can put anything under the moon with intention, this is not a practice I'm aware of - but I am aware of the skyrim drug).  Then I got to the line about one of the characters having an "African Shaman air" and I closed it.  This is 2025 and appears to be a modern setting, what even is that line? 
I have too long a tbr to spend it on things I'm cringing at.
