 in this book, we are introduced to Nera and Kai!! if you like the whole stalker hero this is your book.
I felt the book was super slow but the story was okay I love Kai being the overprotective hero!!!

This was such an emotional read. I'm not sure if it was the anticipation, knowing what happened to Kai, or the story itself. I was crying for most of this read. 

Kai goes through hell for his entire life, only to be torn away from true happiness right as it's finally within his grasp. And poor Nera, getting swept away from Kai right as she thought the stars were aligning? Ugh. I don't think I'll recover from this one anytime soon.
