10/10 on every part. Had me kicking and screaming the entire time. Not sure why I like when the mmc has issues but I ate it up. Like dude was illiterate and I was in love. I loved every second of it especially yhe beginning and when he killed her dad I knew it was going to happen.

Dec 11th, 2024 4.5/5: I loved every second of this again but rereading it made me realize I wish when he came back they didn’t go straight back together right away. I get that he didn’t need to grovel or anything because he got kidnapped and tortured but I wish they didn’t just jump back into things so fast. Like I wish he was like no I can’t be with you or something like that.

i liked how different this one was from all the others in the series! neva is so good at making each book and couple different and unique and not making them a carbon copy of each other. 

kai and neva were so so refreshing and intense and i loved reading about them!
