Unexpectedly enjoyed this couple. I will admit that Kai having long hair is super weird to me but if you ignore that. His devotion towards Nera is undeniable. For some reason this book felt much shorter than the others in the series but that could be due to the time jumps throughout the first half.

Her strength and resilience are impressive, and her kindness really sets her apart. She’s tough but still has that beautiful, caring side that makes her journey so inspiring!
