Red, blue, yellow, green, and orange each get a page. Then the book shows a rainbow of the usual seven colors and asks if you can name them all. But it never mentioned violet or indigo. How is a young child expected to name them all when the book did not teach all the colors? The odd page edges may be good for children. The spine seems a bit weak.

I read a friend's copy of this book. It does not feel sturdy enough for me to gift to a child, nor does it contain enough information in my opinion. The drawings are good and will likely prepare one for a test in colorblindness.
