I absolutely hated this book. I am so open to reading really weird books, including weird sex books. I am book reviewer, it is what I do! And other than not promoting or sharing content about problematic authors, I try to read everything I can (within reason).
For the most part, if the story is good, I can accept the writing to be lacking. Some storytellers aren’t the best at writing, but that is a skill that improves and honestly I love a good story. When it comes to this monstrosity, not only is the story HORRENDOUS but the writing is so bad, that if you were looking to hate read something this summer this could be a great contender.
I wasn’t in the mood for a HATE-READ session… So this was not it for me, and likely I will never revisit this author or this book.

I gave this book 1 star because it was mildly humorous in the beginning. Then everything went to shit.

"She saw stars again, whole galaxies in his iridescent feathers."
Everybody's so creative!! Original concept? I sure hope so. I mean... if you're into this then I guess it's good. Ya'll stay safe out there.
Spoilers? Tropes? Trigger warnings? Unsure...

Ummmm…..just wow.
I went into this thinking it was satire. And that was also how I read it. However, reading the about the author section at the back of the book made it…….more unsettling. Overall really funny to read excerpts but overall pretty weird.

Yep the title is exactly what happened. This book is, as you can imagine, bonkers. But I wasn't mad about it. I probably won't commit myself to more of this genre but sometimes you have to try things just to know that you probably won't do that thing again. The writing was good and I enjoyed the narrator. Give it a try, it's definitely something...

I don’t really write reviews often, but here goes…Our book club selected this as one of our reads this month - and why wouldn’t we?!
