I've read worse books. Was this weird? Absolutely. But the writing really wasn't bad. The descriptions of the women read more like a male author than a female one. That said, though, Dino porn is not my thing.
So, I went into this full well knowing this was a cheesy ridiculous book... and I was eager for it, but I just didn't get it? The titled story was what you expect, but that's only a handful of pages... the rest is really odd vague and non descriptive little vignettes?
