I received this book as an ARC and this is my own honest review.
I loved the first chapters. The use of the crossword they were doing really helped me get into the setting! And so did the character description.

This was different from any sapphic vampire book I’ve read before and that’s another thing that had me hooked. I enjoyed the plot, getting to know the characters and their dynamics together.
Let’s also take a moment for the spice, if you know me you know how much I love a good spicy scene. The joy of having spice in fantasy/paranormal books is that you can play with more “non-human” elements, shadow play? Yes, please. I’m sure you can use your imagination on what went on there, or better yet, read it for yourself!
Highly recommend giving this one a read, especially if you’re like me and you’re a sucker for a sapphic vampire book (pun intended).
