The author brings back beloved main and side characters for more stories and pov’s. What a brilliant way to give readers more history of the story he created.

I liked the two stories about Rags best. (I had already read the 2 longest in the book)

This series is fast paced, innovative, and believable. I love zombie novels, and this series totally delivers. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

This was a fun collection…it has the regulars, and the origin of Riot, and her time with the Rat Pack is maybe my fave of these tales, but mostly I now hope to see Rags (and the heroes) as well as the Rattlesnake Valley Motor Court girls show up in the future.

I knew this was just going to be short stories, It's also more excerpts from Nix's Journal (which I didn't mind reading) But the short stories... some weren't even about characters from the books I was very confused and had no connection or interest in reading about these people. Yes some were sad because it told you more about what happened on First Night and their lives before but I wanted more and I'm not going to lie after a certain a couple hundred pages the rest was a skim because I just wasn't invested.

I really loved this collection of stories based in the Rot & Ruin world. I have only read the first book but before finishing this book I have ordered the second book as well as the first in the Joe Ledger series. I can’t wait for them to come in
