The best outcome in triads lately, at least for me, come down to the right mix of steamy and practicality. I love when the throuple takes their time to talk about what they are jumping into and the ramifications of it before people start getting hurt. Don't get me wrong, I love lusty times as much as the next person, but I also appreciate the careful consideration and respect that goes into the thought process of this kind of relationship just like a couple would. The depth of the characters and meaning behind the story goes a long way towards wrapping around my heart when the author takes the time, plus, the steamy intimate moments are that much better!! So thank you Carrie Ann, Captured in Ink is the best of both worlds.

Ronin and Julia are already married when Ronin's old flame comes back into his life. Once part of a triad before he was married Ronin knows they aren't exactly easy and Julia is now the center of his world he doesn't want to do anything that will screw that up. However, adding a third to their marriage is something they have been discussing and having Kincaid walk back into Ronin's life opens more possibility to making that possibility a reality. First things first, Ronin and Kincaid have to work through their past heartache before they jump into anything that could ruin what Ronin and Julia have in their stable marriage. What could this mean for the triad if they travel down this path? Happiness or destruction?

This is a wonderful novella about a loving couple that evolve into a more non traditional triad relationship; and yet still retains the sweet, simple love story.

Julia, Ronin and Kincaid all have dark items in their past, but together they find their light. Their beautiful relationship of openness, kindness, trust, love and support is inspiring. It made me feel calm and happy, as their was no raging angst, no turbulent adversity to overcome (they had all potentially been through their trauma and had emerged on the other side) and now they were ready for a simple and yet inspired love story.

A beautiful read! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Captured in Ink is a sweet shorty story about Ronin, Julia and Kincaid. We first meet Ronin and Julia and they are a very happily married couple. There is a mention of Kincaid from Ronin’s past and then he shows up at their door. The evolvement of their relationship is both heartfelt and partially tragic but you see how much all 3 have suffered and how they belong to each other. This is a great short story in the Montgomery Universe. The characters were very likable and had explosive chemistry. Great, quick read.

I love being able to catch up with characters I’ve been introduced too in other books.

In this steamy 1001 Dark Nights novella, we catch up with Julia & Ronin who are part of the Montgomery Ink world. They are a happily married couple who think something is missing from their life. That “something” turns out to be Kincaid, someone from Ronin’s past.

As always, Ms. Ryan does an amazing job with all types of relationship dynamics as well as all of the off the charts chemistry between all parties.

I always love diving back into the Montgomery Ink world!

Ronin and Julia both have a past that made them both work really hard to have what they do. They found each other and a love that gave them more than they could ask for. Open and honestly with one another, able and always willing to talk. Communication has been their key all along the way. The devotion they share allows Julia and Ronin to be themselves, discover their wants and needs and know genuine love and happiness. Ronin and Julia share a very unique relationship and are very open minded people with big hearts and a lot of love.

Circumstances beyond his control sent Kincaid into a downward spiral. Tragic events and losing his loves was more than he could handle. Darkness overtook when the hurt and pain became too much. It took quite a while for Kincaid to find his way back to himself. Although he’s not completely there he’s trying really hard. Kincaid showed up on his ex’s doorstep with an apology and a hope for more. Shock hit him on two fronts, one, his ex was married and two, they both welcomed him like family.

Captured in Ink is an emotionally deep and beautiful story. Ronin and Julia have an amazing relationship. They’re honest and bold, willing to talk to each other and not afraid to express their dreams, wishes or fantasies. Together they are amazing. Kincaid was a love lost that became a love returned. They approach their wants openly and honestly, knowing it could be a thing of wonder and beauty or we could go completely down the drain ruining a marriage and what could be a friendship. Once the nerves settle and they fall into being who they are, something amazing happens to these three people that have a dark past but found something more.

Second chance with a ménage twist...

Adding a third to a happily married m/f(Ronin and Julia) union sounds like a bad idea, but this story does it with heart and grace. And it could go either way considering the “m” being added, Kincaid, broke Ronan’s heart years ago. This short heart wrenching tale treats their problems realistically and is both sweet and HOT as all get out. Great afternoon read!

Another emotional story from Carrie Ann Ryan. This sees Ronin and Julia add a third to their relationship. The story is full of emotion, it deals with unforgiving families and moving forward. Any story with the Montgomery's are always a great read.

Do wish this had been a full length story but in the end Kincaid, Ronin and Julia were perfect for each other. Montgomery world continues to just get better and better

Julia and Ronin and Kincaid made one HOT trio. I enjoyed the dynamic between Julia and Ronin and when Kincaid got added into the mix things just got better. This novella gives you enough information to satisfy your curiosity about each character. There is history between two of the three and that adds another dimension to the story. This was a fun addition to the Montgomery Ink world and I'm looking forward to the next story in this world.

Julia and Ronin are deeply in love and their marriage is strong and filled with happiness but when a blast from his past comes back to make amends will the duo realize that they are actually missing something? Will that missing link be Kincaid? Can Kincaid make their marriage stronger or be the link that fails everything? With great characters and plenty of steam this was a great read.
