I think I was sure the end will play out in that way a bit earlier than I would like. Maybe I'm growing accustomed to Brandon's ideas. I've started thinking I'm reading too much of his work because I'm recognising connections not only in Cosmere but in the development of characters and the story line. It starts to feel that Roshar, Scadrial, Nalthis and Sel are all telling very similar stories.

Characters were well developed and the plot was really intriguing. An investment, but worth it if you’ve got stamina. A good solid fantasy novel.
