Perfect accompaniment to an English Literature degree.
techinically, I didn't "finish/; this book, but I think having gone through about 2600 pages of it, I can call it "read,"; And what a good, informative read it was!
A little spendy, but one of the best anthologys around.
I read an older version. I sometimes question Norton's selections, but I enjoy the introductions and the smattering of literature from the greats.
Obviously haven't read the whole thing, but I got my use out of it. There are some very important poems and stories in this that can help to give context to more modern ones.
Ah brings back memories of doing my Degree in University. The 4 stars are because it was useful, not that I particularly enjoyed reading it at the time!
