This author has a major lying kink. She took "all men do is lie" and ran with it. I'm 5 books into this series so obviously it hasn't been a huge deterrent for me, but still very frustrating.

I've never read an Orc story before, but I'm going to be looking for more of this type of read in the future. I'm also going to go back and read all the other books in this series. I'm slightly surprised by how much I liked it. I loved the heat level, and I'd say it's dirty in all the best ways, and I loved the romance as well. The characters were interesting and fun, and their connection was crazy good. I also love how much we see into who the characters are as individuals and the world building. I think I have a new obsession.

Loved this! This might be my favorite in the series so far. The relationship felt so different from the other books. In the first four books, the start of the relationships felt much more accidental and the women were in a place of confusion for such a big portion of the story. In this book, Gwyn and Joarr's relationship felt like a partnership, where Gwyn had a lot of agency. I also appreciated the way Fenn approached the self-harm part of the story line; it was very thoughtfully written, filled with the desperation that people who self-harm feel, and with compassion for that pain.

This is my favorite one. They had the best dynamic, and actual chemistry they had fun together,  laughed and played and the lies were always kind of there so it was less of a knife in the heart like all these other orcs. Also it was nice for an orc to give the woman plenty of oral for once instead of the other way. I love Joarr.
And her dad wasn't just a stereotypical evil man, he did actually care. Just spoiled and misguided
