Tbh I mostly listened to the audio drama version of the books which made it a bit more exciting for me but still, it’s really fun!

I’m so glad I finally read this classic! It was funnier than I expected — I especially enjoyed the transcriptions of the lower class workers speaking Cockney and the confusion that came from spelling errors. But man, it’s hard to read “action” from letters and diary entries. There were definitely moments of suspense but it got so bogged down in logistics so I ended up taking forever to finish the book! But all in all, I respected this book as the Bible of vampire lore and found it incredibly interesting. We stan Madame Mina.
