Really fun and entertaining. Absolutely loved the short chapters and the style of the writing! Was hoping for more mind blowing twists and reveals, they weren't bad but was just hoping for more. The love triangle was fine but something does rub me the wrong way about it being with 2 brothers... idk probably just me though. Am really excited about the second one and I will order it as soon as I get paid and after I pay my parking ticket (oops)!

I actually really like this book, I like the atmoshphere and how it would describe the setting of each scene, it was also a page turner.

I also find myself rooting for grayson rather than jameson despite him having more interactions with Avery .

I actually like Jameson at first but I felt that he was too 'immature' for Avery, he didn't really think much about her feelings whilst Grayson had done things behind the scenes to protect Avery. I hope she ends up with Grayson, I wont mind if its Jameson but I would be happier if Grayson was her endgame, I think they balance each other out.

What a good way to get out of a reading slump! I read this entire book while on a flight to Chicago so I feel a little more accomplished than I would had I finished it on any other old day. It’s not a sad book but even the slightest mention of loss had me holding back tears in my seat. I miss Katarina and goddamnit I don’t think I’ll ever forget the feeling of losing her.  I know this review is lazy but I’m in a rush exiting the terminal.

One of the BEST books I've read in a while.
The characters are so loveable.
A thrilling story with some very unexpected twists.
And: short chapters!!

I don’t usually read the mystery genre but I really enjoyed this! It was quite a quick read, the chapters were the perfect length to keep you hooked, and the characters and mysteries were really well written.

If you like YA and mystery you’ll probably love this book

Overall this was a good time *two thumbs up from me*
