ummm this book is AMAZING!!! i went into expecting to like it but i ended up loving it…. the characters are *chefs kiss* … the plot has you hooked in an instance
i’d give this book 15 stars if it was possible

I don't even know what to say beyond that what is happening in this book is so far from CNC that it might as well be in a different galaxy. I'm all for darker kinks, but I draw the line when they get grossly misrepresented.

On top of that, the writing style is ... well. Not good. Reminds me of the poorly written Wattpad stories I read as a young teen. The metaphors in this one are weird. And I have had enough "sinful smiles" and "rounded eyes" for the rest of my life. Also, the male MC specifically basically only ever thinks about the one thing and as a guy, I honestly feel offended.

I don't know, I could go on and on actually, but I honestly don't want to spend more time dwelling on this book, so let's just say ... it ain't good, friends.

The book was all over booktok and instagram, so I was realy exited to start reading it. Unfortunatly it was to gloomy for me. It just felt depressing, so I DNFd it.
