After reading the tattooist of Auschwitz i knew I had to find out more of Cilka's story and the struggles she went through after the first story. As expected it was a difficult read especially being the age that Cilka was at the end of the story. As with The Tattooist of Auschwitz the story was hard hitting and I found this one a lot quicker to read and it followed on as a story well.

Líbilo se mi to stejně jako Tatér z Osvětimi.

Autorka píše tak jednoduchým a lehkým stylem, že musím přiznat, že jsem knihu vnímala víc jako oddechové čtení než nějaké náročnější. A to je co říct vzhledem k době, v jaké se Cilčina cesta odehrává.

U knih z takového období si představuji, že ji budu prožívat trochu více. Každopádně bych ji doporučila všem, kteří si rádi přečtou dojemné příběh o tom, jak těžké to bylo po skončení 2. světové války.
