Think Hidden Figures, but for NASA's JPL in Pasadena. I didn't always love the style of writing, which focused less on the science and more on the personal, but I also do enjoy character driven books. I did feel emotional and incredibly grateful for these women though, who paved the way for women in engineering today (like me!)

Needed a better job at editing, writing was just okay.
more like 3.5 stars!! it was pretty good as an audiobook BUT i can’t help but feel that the writing style lends itself more to having the story as a movie or a mini series on the main cast of women covered in the book!
That is not a finish date-- it is a "Mercy! I give up!" date. I wanted to like this so much, but I could not get past the horrible, sophomoric, disjointed writing. I have no idea who any of these women are because they blended into one.
My forgetful brain can't tell this book apart from Hidden Figures, but they're both pretty good, so that's okay?
