Started pretty scattershot. The plot seemed to meander to the point of causing a loss in interest. Then all these disparate plot lines begin to merge and get more interesting. And while I won’t say that it ever coalesced or became phenomenally good, it was at least a pretty good read.

Rough read. Clearly the main plot is good enough to make a show. But its a chore to read and incredibly hard to find the through line or know what is going on for the first 50% of the book.
