Mixed thoughts and feelings about this book. I really wanted to like it because I'm part Ecuadorian and while the plot was strong many other elements fell flat. At times the characters were predictible and at others they were fully fleshed out and surprised me. I was waiting for a spicy scene but it was fade to black which personally I find boring. I like the author's message about ecotourism and the awareness the book brought to the Galapagos. The ending was pleasing. A lovely but unfortunately forgetable book.
Moderate: Misogyny and Cancer
Minor: Physical abuse, Gaslighting, and Domestic abuse

I enjoyed the pacing and energy of this book, I recommend it as a lighthearted office romance read! It has almost no spice (Everything is off screen and innuendo) for those that want that information.
Moderate: Gaslighting, Misogyny, Sexism, and Sexual harassment
Minor: Cancer, Death of parent, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Gaslighting, Physical abuse, Toxic relationship, and Violence
