Henley is trying to complete her MBA while also working a demanding full time day job at a cruise line and therefore has very little time to enjoy her life. Now she has been put on the shortlist of candidates for a promotion at work and all her late nights and long hours are starting to look like they paid off. That is until Graeme: a much younger, new hire, who works remotely is also put up for the promotion and Henley has had a frustrating email-exclusive relationship with him since he started working for the company. The two are forced together when their boss sends them off on a cruise in order to better understand the consumer’s prospective of their corporation and while they are away they need to design their proposal that will determine whether or not they get the promotion.

This book was very enjoyable, while also hitting darker beats and wrenching at my heart stings. It contains a complicated sister relationship, the resolution of months of misunderstandings between the main characters, island  hiking adventures and diving trips. I would recommend it as a summer read or any time you need a book to help you escape.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an open and honest review.

This was so gosh darn cute! Sweet and heartfelt. Funny and a little sexy! Sold to us as a cross between The Hating Game and The Unhoneymooners we meet Henley and Graeme who are fighting for the same promotion. Witty banter ensues... Followed by what we all want: our very own HEA.
Throughout our story we learn bits more to our leads that give them a lot more depth and gives allows more chemistry. Shipped was so fun and I found myself smiling and enjoying my time with the our leads. Though yes at times we might know exactly where our story is leading it's served to us on an enticing platter.
No character introduced is swept aside and is actually used to further the plot (how refreshing) the love between all the side characters is felt and recognized. I absolutely enjoyed this book and look forward to many new reads from this author.
