Henley's job working in marketing for a cruise line is her first priority. She chooses to work over spending time with friends and family and never makes time to relax. Henley is up for a promotion, but it's down to her and her enemy and coworker, Graeme. When boss forces Henley and Graeme to go on a cruise to get a better perspective for the company, Henley knows that she has to step up her work game if she wants to beat Graeme for the promotion. The only problem is that he's surprisingly charming. Henley finds herself having to choose between the job she's always put first and the possiblity of falling in love.

What I expected to be a cute summer rom-com actually ended up being more about standing up for yourself and making a difference in the world. It started out as the rom-com but then evolved into a story about empowering women. Although Shipped wasn't what I expected, it was still a great read, and I loved the eclectic mix of characters.

Disclaimer: Only one thing annoyed me and that was the spelling of the name Graham, spelled Graeme in the book. For the entire 321 page I read it as Grime in my mind and immediately corrected it to Graham every single time, which was a lot!

This audiobook was a fun summer read. Major Unhoneymooners vibes. If you enjoy a more light-hearted take on your enemies-to-lovers trope, I would definitely add this one to the list. The primary relationship could've used a bit more developing in my opinion, but I appreciated the dynamic nonetheless.

I didn’t want to end the month without telling you all about my favorite book of the month!  I read Shipped on vacation last weeks and totally get why @stephsbooktherapy recommended this one to me!

This is an enemies to lovers travel/office romance and has everything I love about both the tropes!  A rivalry between two hard working individuals, a clueless but smitten male lead, the trying so hard to maintain rivalry and not just give into their feelings, the guy wanting more.  I love all of these things and then you add in that they are on a cruise in the Galapagos and I’m obsessed!

Both of the characters, Henley and Graeme, are so easy to love and you are rooting for both of them to succeed.  They have both been burned and have some trauma but you purely just want the best for them and I love stories like that!

I highly recommend this book to all my readers - go pick it up now!! So good, so cute, definitely hugging this one and it’s going on my keep forever shelf!
