i loved this!! i was super excited to start it as i loved the previous installments in this series and it did not dissapoint at all!! the inner monologues were so well done and silvera did a very good job of differentiating the way they think so their narration isnt too similar if that makes sense…. the plot was also so incredible i didnt ever wanna stop reading, i truly couldnt put it down!! i was so invested with these characters and was always rooting for them. the pacing was also really good!! overall this book was amazing and i cannot wait to read the next installement of the series!!

Glorifies suicide pacts, self harm, and refusing therapy/professional help. It is over 700 pages of triggers and romanticizing codependency. I liked the other books in this series, but I am so disappointed in this book. No teen, especially one who struggles with mental health, should read this book.

Amazingly written and as emotional as always! Because it is the longest book of the whole Death Cast series to date and sticks more to the main characters, we get to know the two protagonists much more thoroughly than in the other two books. It follows Paz and Alan, who we both already know as children from “[b:The First to Die at the End|59723790|The First to Die at the End (Death-Cast, #0)|Adam Silvera|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1647651404l/59723790._SY75_.jpg|94066728]”, which is also why I think it’s necessary to read that book before. I do however, think that “the first to die at the end” is my favorite out of the Death Cast series, just from a style and enjoyment perspective (though the first will always stick to me because I was so positively surprised by it).

SpoilerI think that’s because it does not feel like being fully round because of the cliffhanger (somewhat literally), so I am in anticipation of the sequel to this sequel! If anyone can give me a draft of “No one knows who dies at the end” pls send it to me

Adam Silvera, thank you. I will never forget this series, and this one has been my favorite.  I really really love when a book just makes you sit there staring out the window for a good 30 min after it's over.  I wasn't left in painful tears as in the first two, but it touched me just as deeply if not more than the first two.  Great job portraying Paz's intrusive thoughts along with different coping methods. I think we all get in our head sometimes and the loudest voice is how we talk to ourselves.  Definitely a gifting bundle.  I love, love, love this book. I saw myself in each of the MCs, the parents, the friends...everywhere.

hella dragged out, genuinely could have been half the length. it was good overall and i enjoyed it. i think the ending is pretty interesting. but repetitive throughout and a few too many perfect coincidences.
