Didn’t get a chance to finish this book when I first started reading it but I just binged it in a day and it was very cute!

It’s probably my least favourite so far out of the chestnut springs series, but it still was good. I probably didn’t like it as much because of the characters- I really liked Jasper and thought he was well written and thought out, but I actually wasn’t super invested in Sloane for some reason. I had sympathy for her and her situation but I dunno, something didn’t really click with me like it did for Summer and Willa. I also have something against the name Sloane because why is it that that name comes up all the time in these kinds of books? It’s not even a very nice name- very grandma-y. But that’s just me ahaha

Jasper again is my least favourite compared to Rhett and Cade but those two were amazing for me so it is very hard to beat anyway. I still loved his character and really liked the way his character developed and how he struggled with anxiety etc etc

The plot was slightly boring and there was some out of place and slightly unnecessary conflicts in the first half- mainly from Sloane getting mad out of nowhere?- but other than that it was still a lovely cosy read

VERY excited to read the next book on Winter’s character!
